    Chief Tammy Cook-Searson

    A member of Lac La Ronge Indian Band (LLRIB), Tammy Cook-Searson was raised on the family trapline near Brabant Lake, Northern Saskatchewan. A fluent Cree speaker, Cook-Searson is exceptionally proud of her First Nations heritage, and is a strong advocate of culture and language, maintaining strong ties to the land. Elected LLRIB Councillor at the age of 25, she served three terms before she was elected as the band?s first female Chief in 2005. Cook-Searson is currently serving her sixth conservative term as, Chief of LLRIB.

    Karen Jensen

    Karen Jensen was appointed Canada's first Federal Pay Equity Commissioner in October 2019. She has represented unions and employers in pay equity disputes at different points in her legal career. In addition, as a full-time member of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal from 2005-to 2009, Karen adjudicated and mediated human rights disputes, including pay equity matters, in both official languages. Prior to joining the Commission, Karen was a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP and was the National and Local (Ottawa) Chair of their Labour and Employment group. A significant part of her legal practice involved advising and representing employers in complex pay equity disputes.

Refund/cancellation policy


We recognize that sometimes plans change. Should you need to cancel before May 2, 2022 we will refund your purchase, minus a $100 cancellation fee.

No refunds will be issued after May 2, 2022. However, we will accommodate substitutions on all registrations up to May 31, 2022.

If it is deemed unsafe to host in-person events due to COVID-19, Trucking HR Canada agrees to transfer all registrations to the hybrid/online event held in its place, providing a full program, and providing a high-quality virtual experience.
