THRC Impact Report illustrates decisive action in a year of disruption

OTTAWA, ON (January 14, 2026) — Trucking HR Canada (THRC) released its 2025 Impact Report today, outlining the organization’s response to a year of disruption with decision-critical workforce and skills intelligence, practical programs for employers, and trusted partnerships that strengthened the sector as a whole.

The report, called Defining moments: Successes in workforce strategy, highlights the initiatives, insights, and collaborations that defined THRC work in 2025, and that supported the sector through a period of significant change and uncertainty. View the 2025 Impact Report.

“We are proud that our efforts are continuing to support the sector as it meets today’s uniquely challenging circumstances,” says Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada. “THRC continues to provide practical, trusted intelligence and resources that empower employers to build a skilled, safe, and resilient workforce. We invite all our stakeholders to reflect on the progress we made in 2025 — together.”

The new report has highlights of THRC programs, initiatives, and research, including:

  • Testifying before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities on the Driver Inc. model, advocating for fair labour practices and an end to employee misclassification
  • Welcoming the largest cohort of fleets in the Top Fleet Employer program’s 12-year history (and two new TFE features: the TFE swag and trailer wrap shop, and the Samsara-THRC Top Fleet Employers scholarship)
  • The Women’s Leadership Accord welcomed 48 organizations leading the way in creating great workplaces for women.
