Webinars help employers prepare federal reports before June 1 deadline
OTTAWA, ON (March 28, 2025) — Trucking HR Canada (THRC) has two webinars next month to help the sector prepare annual reports for two federal programs.
The Legislated Employment Equity Program (LEEP) and Accessible Canada Act (ACA) both have annual reporting deadlines of June 1. Both sessions have simultaneous French translation available. See all upcoming THRC webinars, along with registration information

The two free sessions are both an hour long and include information from experts as well as plenty of time for questions.
Wed. Apr. 9 (noon ET): LEEP – Get ready to file your Legislated Employment Equity Program progress report
Federally regulated employers with 100 or more employees are required to submit their annual employment equity report by June 1, 2025. In this webinar, THRC staff provide an overview of new tools and resources that help make it easier to complete the reporting requirements, including how to report various types of truck driver pay. This is important because under LEEP, employers must provide information about their workforce, including employee statuses, occupational groups, salary ranges, promotions, hiring, termination, and company equity initiatives.
Wed. Apr. 16 (noon ET): Accessible Canada Act – Get ready to file your progress report
Federally regulated private employers with fewer than 100 employees are required to submit a mandatory Accessibility Plan progress report on June 1, 2025. The webinar features the THRC team and a walk-through everything organizations need to know to ensure they are in compliance. The session also includes tools and resources to help make it easier to complete the reporting requirements.
