The Incident Response Module

This self-paced course prepares designated recipients and other individuals responding to workplace complaints to correctly administer the complaint resolution process. The module reviews procedural requirements and other relevant regulatory areas and provides additional instruction on HR best practices that can help prepare individuals for this role. This course is oriented towards individuals in federally regulated workplaces.

This course will help learners to:

  • Review key roles and responsibilities in relation to incident response
  • Review different modes of complaint resolution and understand the steps involved
  • Examine regulatory requirements and timelines linked to responding to workplace harassment and violence complaints
  • Review key post-incident considerations, including the requirement to provide employee support after an incident of workplace harassment and violence

This course takes approximately one hour to complete. Individuals who complete this course will receive a certificate. THRC will maintain a confidential database that can help employers keep track of training completion.
