WWD is a national initiative to ensure Canada has a sustainable and competitive workforce by inspiring employers and empowering women to choose to build a career in our sector.
Thanks to the efforts already underway from forward-thinking employers, women employed in trucking and logistics increased by 27% between 2021 and 2016 — that’s 26,235 more women joining our sector who recognize the opportunities for rewarding careers.

Women with Drive Leadership Summit
The Women with Drive Leadership Summit is one of the best places for professional learning and networking with like-minded career-forward leaders and developing leaders. The annual full-day event has been held in Toronto since 2014 in March during the week of International Women’s day.

THRC launched this program in 2025 to spotlight organizations leading the way in creating great workplaces for women — organizations that are taking concrete action to recruit, retain, and support women, encourage their success, and showcase opportunities in our sector for a fulfilling career.
