Women’s Leadership Accord adds 10 recipients at Women with Drive

OTTAWA, ON (March 5, 2026) — Trucking HR Canada (THRC) welcomed 10 more organizations to the Women’s Leadership Accord in a special ceremony at today’s 12th annual Women with Drive Leadership Summit in Toronto.

This brings the total to 60 organizations committed to creating great workplaces for women and taking concrete action to recruit, retain, and support women, encourage their success, and showcase opportunities in our sector for a fulfilling career.

The Women’s Leadership Accord was launched by THRC in 2025. Recognition ceremonies have been held at THRC events across the country to recognize organizations committing to meeting the program’s four pillars: gender equity, inclusivity, safety, and empowerment. Organizations can earn a Certificate of Excellence by demonstrating what they already have in place in the areas of leadership, attraction and recruitment, retention, health and safety, and community engagement.

The annual Women with Drive Leadership Summit is attended by industry leaders, developing leaders, and change makers who are committed to fostering real change in Canada’s trucking and logistics sector. The Women’s Leadership Accord was launched at the 2025 Summit.
