OTTAWA, ON (May 22, 2026) — Trucking HR Canada (THRC) is hosting two webinars in June focused on two critical workforce priorities for trucking and logistics employers: strengthening employee wellness and building future talent pipelines.
As workforce pressures continue across the industry, employee wellness is not a nice to have, it is essential to improving retention, engagement, productivity, and overall workplace performance. THRC’s June webinars will provide employers with practical tools and funding opportunities they can use immediately to support their workforce and attract new talent.
June webinar lineup:
- June 10: Workplace wellness: A holistic approach to employee wellbeing
Today’s leading employers recognize that employee wellbeing is shaped by many factors — including how work is organized, workplace culture, and the everyday stresses employees face. Beyond an employer’s legal obligations, having a well-structured employee wellness effort can lead to stronger productivity, greater job satisfaction, improved retention, and more. - June 24: Student Work Placement Program: Fuel your talent pipeline
Learn how employers can access up to $5,000 per student placement through THRC’s Career ExpressWay initiative which accesses the federally funded Student Work Placement Program (SWPP), while creating valuable opportunities for post-secondary students and building a stronger future workforce.
All sessions are free, delivered live at noon ET, and are available in English and French.
