New research from Trucking HR Canada (THRC) indicates Canada’s trucking and logistics sector added 21,600 jobs in August, up 2.7% from August 2025. In the same period, overall employment in Canada in August was up 1%, while unemployment was down from 7.1% to 6.4%.
