Funds for Fleets: THRC publishes digital guide to financial incentive programs

OTTAWA, ON (July 21, 2025) — Trucking HR Canada has released Funds for Fleets, a new digital book to help trucking and logistics businesses access financial incentives offered by governments across the country.

Funds for Fleets combines information about programs delivered by the federal, provincial, and territorial governments in one place to make it easier for businesses to see what they might be eligible for. It includes links, a description of each program, eligibility and funding details, all organized by province. The digital book will be updated as new opportunities are announced.

“Canadian businesses are being encouraged to boost productivity and innovation by investing in human capital and green technology,” says Angela Splinter, CEO, THRC. “Incentive programs are an invaluable tool to drive innovation, support growth and foster a highly skilled workforce.”

There are a wide variety of programs included in the new guide that support:

  • green energy efficiency technologies for transportation
  • truck driver training, hiring of recent university and college grads
  • internships and apprenticeships
  • workforce skills training development, including purchase of required equipment
