OTTAWA, ON (September 9, 2026) — Trucking HR Canada (THRC) is celebrating the contributions of people across the trucking and logistics sector this National Trucking Week (September 6-12) with a special social media campaign.

The campaign highlights real people working real jobs in our sector, thanks to the participation of Top Fleet Employers and members of their workforce.
This puts the spotlight where it belongs: on the real people who make transportation happen — behind the wheel and behind the scenes. THRC evidence-based research underscores the importance of job seekers seeing themselves in real life situations, and how depicting real people helps overcome stereotypes and sets the record straight on industry perceptions.
Trucking and logistics is an essential contributor to Canada’s economy and the backbone of the supply chain. These photos help THRC continue to support industry employers with workforce sustainability.
THRC’s Top Fleet Employer program recognizes fleets that demonstrate the highest HR standards in the country and are leaders in promoting a positive image of the trucking and logistics industry.
This week, we salute the workforce behind our essential Canadian industry.
