Women with Drive continues to deliver essential learning and networking

OTTAWA, ON (March 5, 2026) — Trucking HR Canada (THRC) wrapped up another successful Women with Drive Leadership Summit today, filled with powerful keynote speeches, an insightful panel discussion, and valuable learning opportunities.

The Women with Drive theme for 2026, Thriving in a Shifting World, focused on leading through economic strain, rapid technological change, and geopolitical instability.

“I am always so impressed and grateful after a day at Women with Drive,” says Angela Splinter, CEO, THRC. “Everyone who attends brings a special level of commitment and energy to supporting women’s success in our sector — and we can see the results, not just in the room, but in the labour market data as well.”

Headlining the day was a panel discussion called Women of the C-suite: Thriving in a changing world, which covered issues that matter most to the industry during this time of change and challenge. Special thanks to some of trucking and logistics’ most successful women who shared their insights: Colleen O’Toole, CEO, Lighthouse Transportation Inc.; Kathy Cartan, President, Motive Media; and Carla Kaneski, Chief Financial Officer, Arnold Bros. Transport Ltd; moderated by Peter Stefanovich, President, Left Lane Associates.

This annual event is attended by industry leaders, developing leaders, and change makers who are committed to fostering real change in Canada’s trucking and logistics sector.
