The Transportation and Supply Chain Workforce Alliance (TASC) is a new coordinated and collaborative initiative to support a resilient, productive, and future-ready transportation and supply chain system in Canada. Over the next three years, TASC will work to identify workforce challenges, validate workforce intelligence, advance practical workforce solutions, and pilot initiatives.
The new Alliance was announced last week in Calgary. It will be led by Trucking HR Canada with CIFFA – Canada’s Association of Logistics Providers, as partner, and funding from Canada’s Ministry of Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).

Trucking HR Canada (THRC) is the national, non-profit workforce development organization for Canada’s trucking and logistics sector. Established in 2012, THRC is the recognized authority on workforce strategy for the industry, providing labour market intelligence, workforce research, skills development initiatives, occupational standards, training resources and evidence-based human resource solutions.
