OTTAWA, ON (September 11, 2026) — Trucking HR Canada (THRC) welcomed 10 more organizations to the Women’s Leadership Accord and awarded each a Certificate of Excellence during a special recognition ceremony at La Soirée de l’industrie 2026, presented by the Association du camionnage du Québec (ACQ) in Montreal on September 10.
This brings to 70 the number of organizations across the country that have signed the Accord and earned a Certificate of Excellence by demonstrating concrete action to recruit, retain and support women, advance their success and showcase the fulfilling career opportunities available in trucking and logistics.
“The momentum we are seeing in Quebec reflects a growing recognition across our sector that attracting and advancing more women is a business and workforce priority,” says Angela Splinter, President and CEO, Trucking HR Canada. “It strengthens the talent pipeline, expands leadership capacity and helps employers build the resilient workforce they need for the future.”

Launched by THRC in 2025, the Women’s Leadership Accord is built around four pillars: gender equity, inclusivity, safety and empowerment. Organizations earn a Certificate of Excellence by meeting the Accord’s requirements and demonstrating the practices they have in place across five areas: leadership, attraction and recruitment, retention, health and safety, and community engagement.
Recognition ceremonies have been held at events across the country, with additional ceremonies planned in other provinces throughout the year.
